Harold Risk

January 30, 1950 - October 18, 2004

Harold "Harry" Liddell Risk, 54, passed away Monday, October 18, 2004.

He was born Jan. 30, 1950, in Glasgow, Scotland, to John Peter Risk and Eva Mary Richards Liddell Risk. The family emigrated from Scotland to Logan, Utah, in 1954.

Harry was always proud of his Scottish heritage and enjoyed keeping in touch with his family back in Scotland. Even though in retained his British citizenship, he served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1970, stationed in Germany and later Vietnam.

He married Helen M. Brown in 1971 and later divorced. He married Tracy Ann Smith and later divorced.

Harry loved reading, cooking, music, and golfing and playing sports with his sons, brothers, and nephew. He was someone who could always make you laugh.

He is survived by his mother, Eva Risk of Logan; two sons, Eric (Amber) Risk of Mendon, Utah, and Philip (Kimberly) Risk of Roy, Utah; two grandchildren, Paige and Carter; three brothers, John (Anna) R. Risk of Logan, Thomas (Debbie) Risk of Logan, and Robert (Ilene) Risk of Sandy, Utah; one sister, Eva (Rick) Atkinson of Preston, Idaho; and his niece and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, whom he missed dearly and we are sure was there to greet him.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 25, at the First Presbyterian Church, 12 S. 200 West, Logan. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
