Michael Scott Nielson, 54, passed away Nov. 4, 2002 after a six-month battle with kidney and liver failure. He was born April 28, 1950 in Logan, Utah. He spent his early years in Logan, graduating from USU and then moved to San Diego where he earned a Juris Doctorate Degree.
Scott resided in California the next 30 years and continued the six-generation tradition of masonry contracting as well as having a masonry supply company. Of late he has been working in Bangkok, Thailand as an investment broker.
Scott is survived by his parents, Reed and Betty Nielson of Logan, Utah; children Brandon (Charlene) Nielson, Michael Nielson, Jeffery Nielson, and Jenny (Dave) Wrigley; grandchildren, Austin James Nielson and Cody Reed Nielson; sister, Peggy N. Chanson and brothers, Stan Nielson, and Mathew R. Nielson.
Funeral Services: Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center, Logan, Thursday, November 7th at 2 p.m. Burial: Logan Cemetery.
