Gary Clifford Peterson, age 67, passed away July 27, 2017. He was born December 3, 1949 in Logan, Utah, the son of Clifford H. and Joan Miles Peterson. He graduated from Logan High School and attended Utah Trade Tech in Salt Lake City. He lived in Roy, Utah.
He was an accomplished HVAC Technician and retired after 40 years of service. He served in the U. S. Navy (Seabees) for four years, receiving an Honorable Discharge.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, astronomy, science and learning. He was a published poet.
Gary is survived by his children: Adam, Brandalyn (Jeremy) and Candace (Jared); seven grandchildren; his mother, Joan; and sister, DeEtt. He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Peterson.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 10 a.m. at the Utah Veterans Cemetery and Memorial Park, 17111 S 1700 W Bluffdale, Utah.
