Carol Gnehm (Fuhriman)

July 1, 1950 - March 23, 2014

Carol Louise Gnehm Fuhriman, 63, died Sunday March 23 2014, in her daughter's home after a courageous fight with cancer.

On July 1, 1950 Carol was born to Alfred and Frances Gnehm in Logan, Utah. With the exception of a few years spent in Ogden, she has lived her whole life in the Cache Valley that she holds dear. She attended Logan High School and Utah State University.

In 1979 she married her eternal companion, Joe Fuhriman. Together they have four children, 11 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. While she has worked as a loan officer, bank teller, office manager, and receptionist, Carol's favorite job was caring for her family as a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Services will be held at noon on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Nibley 2nd Ward Church, 130 W. 2600 S. Nibley, Utah. There will be a viewing held from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, March 26th at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E Center St, Logan. There will also be a viewing held at the church house prior to services from 10:30-11:30. Interment will be at the Providence Cemetery.

Carol had a love for music. She had a beautiful gift of being able to play the piano and organ. She has also enjoyed singing with church and community choirs over the years.

Carol's love was felt by many with her warm smile and caring ways. She taught us all about the true meaning of service.

Carol is survived by her husband, H. Joe Fuhriman; daughter, Angie & Rory Mann (Hyrum); step-son, Jason Fuhriman (Logan); step-daughter, Aimee Fuhriman (Roy); and step-daughter, Kristin & Christopher Howell (Afton, WY), 11 grandchildren and 1 great- granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Frances Gnehm; brother, Terry L. Gnehm, and in-laws, Howard and Annabelle Fuhriman.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Logan Cancer Center who watched over her through her battle.
